Poem - - Info:
This poem is an essay I had to do for school, It was good enough to be put in here
Made in (not 9-11) March of 2002.

UPDATED 5-31-05

This poem is still a poem essay thing. People are scared, many lives were lost. Most of the feelings in this aren't from 9-11, but from the death of my friend that I had to witness the previous friday prior to 9-11-01. I saw him murdered, and was helpless to do anything to help him. I will never forget, and I will continue to visit the spot he fell every year, just as I have been. RIP RANDY.

The Warm Sunny Day Of 9-11

All my life,
I’ve been living in peace,
Along with my pride, joy,
And most of all,
My Happiness,
Until the day of 9-11,
Just had to come along,
And hurt my lonely soul.
This all just touched me,
Enlightened me,
Made me finally realize,
Realize that there are much, much,
More important things in life,

On That Warm Sunny Day.

Many people were in shock,
Many people were in shock,
Many people we lost,
Many people also died...
But died for what?
Nothing at all, Nothing at all...
On that warm sunny day.

I plunged into complete despair,
I’ve had no other feeling,
Quite like the feeling of...
The darkness that has fallen upon me
And with all of the deaths of the many,
It makes everything so unbelievable, so unreal,
On that warm sunny day.

I felt like I was all alone,
So very alone in this wretched world
Have you ever had the feeling of helplessness,
The feeling of no one to turn to,
That’s exactly what I felt like,
On that warm sunny day

I think I could finally know,
Know how life must of been,
Been for all of the poor families in the 9-11 attack

Suddenly my parents,
Seemed to be a dream come true,
On that warm sunny day

All of my sadness,
Fright, horror,
Even the utter incompetence,
Of plain failure came before my eyes,
As I watched our nation fall part,
Watched my life change,
Watched all those terrible,
Horrible scenes,
On that warm sunny day

I suddenly felt a stronger relationship,
With my American Heritage,
I felt as if "We The People",
Needed to do something,
Anything,
For the greater cause,
On that warm sunny day,
On that warm sunny day...
